Successful Activities
The following is a brief synopsis of some key accomplishments facilitated by Praxisphere since it’s formation
in March 2008.

Business Intelligence &
Process Reengineering
- Developed requirements for key revenue planning capabilities within a BI environment
for the annual budget. In addition, Praxisphere guided management with the reporting and presentation methods for using the
planning capabilities in Hyperion Planning. All participants have positively evaluated the work and it has facilitated an efficient
and accurate workflow.
- Built out a datamart for tracking key revenue and expenses (commissions and bonuses) for a service provider. A user is now able to easily scale the business at various tiers which includes employee level detail.
- Documented the current processes
for recording earned and unearned revenue and provided the design architecture to automate the procedures. This process reduces
the monthly closing for management by one day and provides better internal control for revenue.
Business Systems Implementations
- Guided management through all phases (software selection, design and implementation processes) of
an automated travel and entertainment software project. Praxisphere negotiated the price, developed the architectural design
and participated throughout the entire implementation. It should be noted that the architectural design eliminated the need
for two databases to support multiple chart of accounts.
Periodic Accounting Support
- Facilitated the alignment of the fixed asset data
with the general ledger account detail as part of the overall goal to reconcile for tax purposes. This work saved the client
approximately $150K in additional fees with another consulting firm.
- Supported external audit requirements by providing specific analysis
for FAS 144 and providing advisement and support for cash reconciliations and FAS 142 analysis.
Budgeting & Business Modeling
- Managed the back office support for the annual budget. Within this capacity, Praxisphere provided
project management, modeling tools in BI and analysis methods for the budget.
M&A Due Diligence
- Participated with the due diligence
of a company’s acquisition by evaluating the current people, processes and systems to be integrated with the acquiring company.
